Adekunle Gold: My Contract With YBNL Have Expired, I’m On My Own Now

Few days after Olamide reveals of Adekunle Gold contract expiration with YBNL Nation, the “Orente” crooner have come out to confirm the statement.

In a recent chat with Planet TV, the singer who recently pulled a video to his “Work” track off of “Gold” album, said; “Yeah My Contract expired and that’s it“.

He also said that Olamide doesn’t renew artist contract after the first contract expires. According to him, the Baddosneh believe that an artist signed to his label, would have garnered the needed fame to stand on his own after the two years of the first contract.

The plan with YBNL, you don’t renew contract… Olamide signed us for two years, so that you can by yourself hustle and then make this album.”

Going further, he indirectly suggest of his desire to obtain a new contract, maybe not with YBNL but a renowned record label as he is not ready to float his own record label just as former label mate, Lil Kesh did when he parted ways with YBNL.

“I don’t have my record label now, i’m on my own for now… If it come yeah, i don’t have the vision for now.”
