ILLBLISS put out a surprise fifth studio album, Nine-Tracker “Illy Bomaye”
Capital Hills Record/The Goretti Company honcho, Illbliss (styled iLLBLiSS), yesterday being July 28th, unleashed a new music project, his fifth studio album and first after “Illygaty: 7057” released last year October.
The album titled “Illy Bomaye” was released unannounced by the Eastern Nigeria indigenous hip-hop mogul, both online and offline and housed 9-tracks with features in Cynthia Morgan, Praiz, and Tha Suspect. Among the producers for the album tracks includes Major Bangz, Tha Suspect, Big Foot, and KezyKlef.
In his words regarding the new body of work for 2017; “This is probably the piece of work I enjoyed working on the most cos I wasn’t trying to do a smoothie and a cocktail of vibes. This is really how I am and what I’m going through and I just want to share with the world. But it’s a more hiphop more personal project.”
After welcoming his first child with wife, Munachiso, the indigenous rapper is more than joyous and to show that to his baby girl (named Sochikaima), churn out a record for her. The record had him tell the story of his long waiting (8-year) for this day of her birth into her deserving home reminding her that Daddy Loves her.
Being the leading track of the album, “DaddyLuvsYou (Sochikaima),” it is assumed that the project is created in respect to the new joy of their marriage.
