King Don Come! D’Banj’s Debut Since Mo’Hits Split Arrives | Stream [New Album]
After leaving his fans and anticipators for the album in the dark for over a month plus, with the album earlier scheduled for release on July 7th, D’Banj didn’t want a repeat as he serves out the full project yesterday.
On 25th August, 2017, the Afrobeat singer, songwriter and businessman, self called Kokomaster, without let, releases the “King Don Come” album, first LP since Mo’Hits split in 2012.
“King Don Come” is a 12-tracker album which sees D’Banj blend with the new trend of African stars featuring their North American counterparts – vividly spearheaded by Wizkid and Davido, currently.

Features includes American Hip-Hop/Rap Music veteran, Gucci Mane (aka Guwop), former labelmate under defunct Mo’Hits Records, Wande Coal, AlterPlate Music kingpin, Harrysong (aka Mr. Songz), Indigenous rap titan, Phyno Fino and lots more.
With production credit to Dr. Amir, Don Jazzy, Shizzi, Cheeky Chizzy Maleek Berry, Killertunes and P Loops, the album span through several Genres, majorly Afropop and Afro-Hip-Hop/Rap.
Having released three singles – “It’s Not A Lie”, “Be With You” and “El Chapo” within a short space, with an accompanying, crisply-shot visual, the LP is definitely in the right hype for a good sales for the first week.
The album is D’Banj’s fourth, first since 9-years – – last album “The Entertainer” was released back in 2008 under defunct Mo’Hits Records. It is a follow up project to his last two years (2015) Audio and Visual EP, “An Epic Journey” which housed seven tracks including collaboration with Akon – “Feeling The N*gga”.
