Listen To Jidenna's New EP "Boomerang" feat. Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Maleek Berry

Jidenna drops his sophomore project, a surprise six-track EP engraved the title “Boomerang” with production from Diplo of Major Lazer.

Roughly nine months of coming through with his debut album, the American rapper of Nigerian descent, Jidenna is out with a new music project.

Announced recently with the tracklist via social media, the impressively compiled Extended Play (EP) by the Wisconsin Rapids hailed Wondaland/Epic Records signee is given the name “Boomerang.”

Living up to the title, the EP housed six explosively churned out tracks – including two remixes of his debut album “The Chief” spanking tracks; “Bambi” and “Little Bit More”.

Being more African in this one – unlike in his debut album that’s all Americans – the EP featured African superstars including Maleek Berry, Tiwa Savage, Sarkodie and the very artist he think is underrated, Spaceship Afro-fusion act, Burna Boy.

Other features for the EP includes fellow Nigerian-American rapper signed to Rick Ross’ MayBach Music Group, Wale alongside leader of ATL rap music trio (Migos), Quavo.

“Decibels” kicks off the EP with a flavorful bounce following a voicemail message from a disgruntled girlfriend, while “Out of Body” closes out the project, with guest appearances from Wale and Cromwell.

Much like The Chief, Boomerang flaunts Jidenna’s versatility, singing and rhyming throughout. It also has other connections to his debut, including the remixes to “Bambi” (featuring Berry, Quavo, and Sarkodie) and “Little Bit More” (featuring Burna Boy).

“Bambi Too” is the newest collaboration between Quavo and Jidenna, who previously partnered on a remix to “The Let Out,” which didn’t make it onto The Chief.

Enjoy the amazing project below and stay tuned for our double select from the EP.
