The ongoing saga involving Nigerian pop star, Kiss Daniel and his estranged record label, G-Worldwide Entertainment continues to take a new turn as the artist legal team hit back at the music company over failure to keep to the terms in the contract with their client.
With recent report of Panic among clients who have booked the artist under the name “Kiss Daniel”, leading to their request for a refund from the artist, L & A Legal Consultants, the solicitors representing Kiss Daniel, releases a new statement probably to calm the situation.
In a 6-page documents, the Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe’s legal team made it clear that their client action was in line with the contract terms. According to them, the contract has a termination clause which allows their client to terminate the contract.
Further in the statement, the lawyers pointed out that the problem between their client and his former label began when the latter failed to grant their client an unrestricted access to his account and books as provided in the contract.
The “No Do” singer is currently restrained from recording or performing with his stage name “Kiss Daniel” by Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.
