“Please don’t expect an album this year from me okay!” – words from the former member of the dissolved music duo of P-Square who is now identified by his solo stage name, Rudeboy, in a new interview with HipTv.
Recall earlier this year, the singer cum producer revealed on Wazobia Fm that he has many songs under his coffer, enough for him to release an album “even at this moment”. Sure this words of his have ignited the anticipatory flash of excitement in the mind of his fans waiting for their favorite artist first solo album pretty soon.
Pretty soon is now an overstatement as the artist himself, in a recent interview with HipTv stated that his debut solo album won’t be coming through anytime soon. In much precise words, his album will not be arriving this year but undoubtedly next year.
“Eh nwa! Please don’t expect an album this year from me okay! If I do am e go dey too much. So next year, my album is coming out.”
Speaking further, he promises to continue serving his fans with good musical contents within the space – projecting four more singles from him this year.
“As usual I’ll keep dropping like every two months plus, i will be dropping a new song and a new video at the same time. You guys know i have “Fire Fire”, “Nkenji Keke”, “Somebody Baby”, something else is coming. I think i have like four singles, more to drop this year.”
