Nigeria’s Bahd Guys Records lead act, Falz (The Bahd Guy) was right on it, earning a deserving headlines across Nigeria and America, for his impressive Nigerian version of the chart topping record by American multi-talented artist, Donald Glover, musically identified as Childish Gambino, titled “This Is America”.
Rightfully titled “This Is Nigeria”, sticking to the idea behind the song, the comic star highlighted several issues plaguing the country – including the Fulani herdsmen killings, internet fraud, Chibok and Dapchi girls scenario, SARS harassment, Money Laundering and lots more.
The song was produced by Wande Thomas and the video delivered under the directorship of Prodigeezy.
Amazing and socially conscious the rendition, earned an appraise from one of America’s hip hop/rap music moguls, Sean John Combs (aka P. Diddy). Diddy took to his instagram page to repost the video for the song as shared by Falz on his IG, with the caption which suggest he’s impressed of the work by Falz.
