Kizz Daniel, as now referred, might not have pulled himself off any court violation as earlier stipulated despite name change
Much as many pundit did identify his name change weeks ago as a smart move to elude any court injunction preventing him from performing with the stage name – Kiss Daniel, and previous records while with the label, his former personal manager, Louiza Williams, think otherwise.
The woju crooner recently inflect minute changes to his name from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel and responding to the new development, his former manager who claimed unaware of the name change, in an interview with Sunday Scoop, revealed that the changes is really insignificant as regards his court case with his aggrieved former record label, G-Worldwide Entertainment.
“I actually did not know that he had changed his name until you told me. However, there is no big deal about that; it has nothing to do with the case,” – she said.
She went on to reveal that the court case with Kizz has been adjourned to June 26, 2018 and much as singer didn’t appear in the last date (on May 16th), his lawyer who was present would have conveyed all the needful information to him.
“The next court date is June 26. It is not true that the case has been settled; so, I don’t know where all those reports came from. If there was anything like that, I would be aware of it.
“Though Kizz Daniel doesn’t come to court personally, his lawyers appear on his behalf and I am sure they pass relevant information across to him accordingly. The court ruled that both parties should maintain the status quo, but Kizz Daniel is doing what is best known to him, which is contrary to what the court ordered,” she added.
Speaking on the strategic plan(s) the music company is considering as regards the case, she said: “the company definitely has a plan but I cannot reveal anything for now.”
