Afro-house Queen, Niniola Apata Receives Certificate Of Participation As “The Lion King: The Gift” Composer By The Recording Academy, The GRAMMYs.

On July 19 2019, American multi Grammys winner, Beyonce released a soundtrack album dubbed “The Lion King: The Gift”, inspired by the Disney live-action remake of The Lion King. The project featured amazing eleven african star singers including Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi, Tekno, Moonchild Sanelly, Busiswa, Shatta Wale and two others.

However, most people are not aware that Niniola also worked on the album alongside other Nigerians. The singer was one of the composers of the track “Find Your Way Back (Circle of Life)” which contains elements of her hit single “Maradona”.

The album which earned a Grammy nomination for the Best Pop vocal album sent in a certificate of participation to Niniola. The singer took to her Instagram page to share a photo of the certificate “And The GRAMMY Certificate @recordingacademy just came in the mail today….Thank You God and Thank you to everyone that has been supporting. Love U All ???
